We pay attention to detail in each and every hookah that we pack. We are not out to make money; we are doing this in order to spread the joy of a true hookah to the people of San Diego.
Q: What is a hookah?
A: A hookah is a smoking device that originated in India and was originally made of hollow coconuts. Smoking hookah is extremely popular in the Middle East, especially among men. Today the hookah has become popular among young Americans; it first emerged in America just a few years ago in cities such as Las Vegas, Los Angeles, New York and San Diego.
Q: How does a hookah work?
A: A hookah consists of six parts; the stem, the hose, the vase, the valve, the bowl and the coal. A hookah works in cycles. When we suck on the hose, it creates vacuum, which causes the coal on top of the bowl (where the tobacco is located) to create smoke by burning the tobacco. The smoke then travels down the stem and into the vase where the smoke passes through the liquid. After passing through the liquid the smoke passes through the hose and is then inhaled.

A: Flavored tobacco is most commonly used in a hookah. Popular flavors include strawberry, mango, mint and coconut.
